Great fixture and my kid (who is obviously crazy about construction vehicles) loves it! Coolest thing about this fixture is when he grows out of the construction phase we can change the shade without replacing the entire fixture. As to Fire Fly, fast ship and very friendly customer service! Would definitely buy from them again!

We struggled to find the perfect light fixture for our sons room. This was the only one we found with a construction theme. When we opened it, it was far more than I expected. It a great size, the patterns are perfect and my son loves it. It was easy to put together and install.

This is the third light fixture we've ordered from this store and once again it did not disappoint. We got the shade with construction vehicles for our toddler's room, plus a more basic shade to exchange later when he grows up. The lamp shades are very high quality and easy to install (took 2 minutes). It is brighter than the one we had before which is a nice bonus.

I already have the owl light for my daughter's room so I was excited when I saw this construction light that would match perfectly with my son's room. The shipping was fast and free, but I not as impressed with the light itself. It seems in the past 3 years since I ordered my daughter's light, the quality has come down a bit and the styles don't match. My daughter's light had a chrome piece that attached to the ceiling instead of white and it hangs down a bit farther. Plus her shade came installed on the frame with very minimal seams, whereas we had to install this shade and now there is a very thick seam where it velcros together. And on top of that the price has gone WAY up as well. Overall I am still happy with this light and I love the print, I am just a bit disappointed that I paid a lot more for what I feel is a cheaper product.

One of the main reasons why we've changed the design of this product to require assembly was to give customers the flexibility to change the shade/pattern without having to purchase a complete new light fixture. As the child grows and they want to update the look of the room, all you need to do is purchase the shade part only. We sell the shades separately. We have found that our customers appreciate this feature very much, even thought it required assembly. We have worked closely with our manufacturer to ensure that the Velcro shade is easy to assemble and that quality is not compromised. Another feature we have changed was the material of the diffuser from glass to acrylic. The new diffuser is light and can be easily and safely removed at anytime to be cleaned. We hope you enjoy your light, however if you are not completely satisfied, you may return it.
